Barbara Horton - Owner & Director of Purchasing
Jayson and Barbara spent their childhood just miles apart until meeting and marrying 12 years ago. Native Texans, only Jayson's military service during Desert Storm took them briefly from the Dallas area. Ten years ago, the landscaping business started as a way to supplement income and quickly exploded, taking over Jayson and Barbara's schedules. Leaving permanent positions, at Frito-Lay Corporate & an international development company, and devoting themselves to becoming the highest quality landscaping business in the North Dallas area, Jayson and Barbara began taking education classes to be certified landscape contractors. What began as a hobby has flourished into a thriving landscaping and maintenance business.
Most recently, Horton's Landscaping moved into a 2000 sq foot building in Downtown Lewisville where Barbara manages an office staff of 5. Jayson oversees the sales force and manages 3 acres devoted to plant propagation and production. Jayson also manages a large inventory of plant material including two on-site greenhouses filled year-round with beautiful plants & shrubs. Jayson plans to expand the site into a retail location for customers to visit and hand pick their favorite plants and trees. Additionally, Jayson oversees the landscaping and maintenance crews in their day-to-day operations. Horton's customers have come to expect customized, quality service and Jayson and Barbara have made it their mission to provide it.

Tracy Perkins - Office Manager
Tracy is the newest addition to Horton’s office staff joining the team in March 2003. Previously an Associate Buyer at a large food supplier, Tracy brings a wealth of experience. Horton’s Landscaping looks forward to the contributions Tracy will make to the office and the team.
